As an independent art-book publisher based in Oslo, Ansten Press publishes books in close collaboration with artists, writers, galleries and museums. All publications are printed and bound locally by craft specialists.
Ansten Press was founded in 2020 by Nina Ansten. She has many years’ experience in art education, design and communication services for the art field. As designer, project leader, and editor—and with a keen interest in art, books and traditional craft methods—Ansten has acquired a comprehensive knowledge of the various phases of book production, and built up a network of highly proficient collaborators.
